Many of the planned studies from the iStopMM project use data on disease diagnoses in the Icelandic healthcare registries. In this paper published in the Scandinavian Journal of Public Health, the accuracy of these diagnoses was assessed and was estimated to be 98.5%, confirming the validity and accuracy of these registries for future studies.
